The late unfortunate Duel is viewed in the Boston papers somewhat differently from what the N. York editors consider it. It is supposed that the parade and ostentatious tokens of grief and respect for the man that falls by duelling, involves an approbation of that horrid practice, inconsistent with morality or religion. It seems the corporation of Harvard College declined attending the funeral procession in honor to Hamilton, the clergy of the town kept aloof, and the select men refused to order the tolling of the bells. The conduct of the Boston federalists in condemning col. Burr so violently, is the more inconsistent, as Mr. Rutledge, who is now in that town, who fired at Dr. Center, & afterwards pursued, fought and killed him, is courted and caressed by them:
