THE REAL LAUNCH.

On Saturday last the citizens again assembled at the Navy Yard, to view the launch of the Frigate Constitution. Amid a crowd of spectators, she moved with a most graceful dignity into the embraces of the surrounding waters; the radical amendments in her ways, gave her an easy descent, and this child of the Ocean was safely delivered in her cradle, to the protection of Neptune, to be suckled at the breast of "fair Bellona." With gentle emotions, and a modest decency she soon disencumbered herself of her swaddling clothes, and seemed to smile with a pleasing complacency on the brilliant Assembly who attended the ceremonies of her nativity.

On the two former occasions, she resolutely maintain'd her position,—while exposed to the rude attacks of tackles & screws, but when she found herself under the particular care and management of her constructor and his chosen Associates, she cheerfully resigned herself to her destined element.
