Minot, N. D., Feb. 3.-(AP)-Officials of the North Dakota Wild Life association attending a North American conference in Washington Monday will support a proposal that each state be permitted to set its own dates for the migratory waterfowl hunting season.
The North American Wild Life conference is slated to open a five-day session at the nation's capital Monday.
Lyle D. Johnson of Minot, secretary, said directors of the state organization decided to recommend that proposal and another for continuation of the regulation prohibiting the use of shotguns of more than three-shell capacity.
Among North Dakotans who will attend the sessions are Howard L. Stone, New Rockford, president of the State Wild Life association, A. I. Peterson, state game and fish commissioner and Burnte Maurek, Minot, project director of the bureau of biological survey.
