BOSTON, AUG. 12.

Fire!—A fire broke out on Sunday night in a ten-foot building on Messrs. Jackson & Lincoln's lumber wharf, near Cambridge Bridge which was destroyed, together with a quantity of lumber adjoining it. About an hour before the fire broke out a man was observed to go into the shed with a light. The shed was filled with shingles. Loss about 500 dollars, exclusive of the building, which belonged to Mr. Adams, of Charlestown. At the fire two black fellows conducted in a manner that excited strong suspicions.
