Where 21-Nation Peace Parley Convenes to Write, Treaties

ON JULY 29, in Luxembourg palace at Paris a 21-nation peace conference will be called to order, and delegates from the Allied nations will draft peace treaties with Italy, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Finland. The Big Four foreign ministers have been convening in the luxurious palace, laying the groundwork for the all-important peace parley. At the right is an exterior view of the palace, while at left below is the grand stairway up which delegates will pass to gain the great conference hall, lower right, where the formal signing will take place.
