Full Text
I'm a (senior) young lady who is having trouble with her boy friend.
I have been in love with this young man for about five years. He is off working. I'm very much in love with him.
When he comes home he always says that he loves me, but he won't write very often. Sometimes I think he might be devoting his spare time to someone else. Please advise.
Heart Broken
Answer:
There are some people who just don't like to write, even when they are in love. But it should not be that way. For written statements somehow seem to carry more weight when it comes to expressions of love. Love should be expressed by action via tongue (speech) the pen, gifts, visits and in many other ways.
Invite him home for Thanksgiving or Christmas. During these visits, you should find out just where you stand with him. Specify the days on which you expect to hear from him. Then you will know what to expect.
