Friday Election Supplies Mailed
County Clerk Edward H. Law and C. W. Hinderks, his chief deputy, today sighed a great sigh and consigned to the mailman the election supplies which have weighted the consciences of both men for several weeks.

Ballots and other supplies for the July 1 freeholders election were mailed today to 22 precincts about Imperial county. which will bear the brunt of the county-wide election to choose 15 men to draw up a proposed county charter.

Officials explained today that those voting for the freeholders are not voting for the charter, as seems to be the belief of some citizens, but are only authorizing 15 men to draw up a charter which later will be passed on at another election.
