The arrest of Prince Polignac has put into the power of the government of France the two most obnoxious ministers, Peyronnet being previously arrested—
The French funds had fluctuated somewhat, owing possibly to the movement in Paris of the unemployed and dissatisfied workmen; but we repeat this is not the cause for alarm as to the stability of the throne of the King of the French.
Nothing has hitherto transpired in France to create any alarm as to an immediate reaction, and should a beneficial course of government be steadily pursued, the longer that is delayed the less probability will exist of its effecting any thing.
