Pugilistic.—Maggie Thompson, who resides at No. 312 Coates street, through imbibing an extra quantity of poisonous whisky on Saturday night became rather pugilistic and endeavored to crack the skull of the proprietor of the place, named R. H. Kohns. The latter not relishing the joke had Maggie arrested, and Alderman Toland held her in $600 bail to keep the peace. This bail she easily procured, and being somewhat sobered she caused to be issued warrants for Kohns and another individual named Ephraim Henofer, who had aided Kohns. The individuals named were taken before Alderman Cahill, where Maggie preferred the charge of keeping a disorderly house against Kohns and of assault and battery against Henofer. The former was held in $1300 bail to answer at court and the latter in $300 bail to keep the peace.
