LAKE WORTH Feb 25. (FNS)

Theodore Pratt, well known fiction and feature writer who resides at Lake Worth, and who has given Florida nationwide publicity through his books and national magazine articles, now a member of the War Writers Board has deserted his Florida stories in favor of the war.

His latest book, just published, is called "Mr. Winkle Goes to War," and was written as a part of his work as a member of the Writers Board. "Mr. Winkle Goes to War" is the story of a group of average draftees from an average American town from the time they go into the army until they see action overseas. Material for the book was gathered by Pratt last summer when he made a tour of army camps.

The book gives an interesting, authentic picture of army life, is splendidly written, and should have an equal appeal to soldiers and civilians.
