The ordination discourse, on Friday, was delivered by the Right Rev. Bishop Meade. The following candidates for orders were ordained deacons:--Francis E. Arnold and Thomas H. Cullen, of the diocese of Pennsylvania; James B. Herrick, David I. Lee, David I. Pannill and Peter Tinsley, of the diocese of Virginia, and James E. Homans, of the diocese of New York. Mr. P. Brush, of the diocese of Massachusetts, a member of the same class, will be ordained in his own diocese. Mr. James Saul, of Virginia, also a graduate of this year, was ordained by Right Rev. Bishop Meade, on the 11th of May last. Rev. John Cosby, of the diocese of Virginia, deacon, was also ordained priest. A sermon was delivered before the missionary society of the Seminary, by Rev. R. B. Daane, of New Jersey, and another before the Alumni, by Rev. Fred. S. Wiley, of New York.
The new buildings--Aspinwall, Bohlen and Meade Halls--will be completed next winter. The number of students, including a class preparatory to the regular theological course, is sixty-one.
