FOG AIDS KIDNAPPERS

HARWICH, MASS., May 3, (AP)-- The kidnappers of Margaret McMath, the thirteen year old victim, were hidden well by billows of fog across Cape Cod.

Margaret is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neil McMath, and a granddaughter of two prominent men in Detroit. She was enticed from school by a carefully planned plot in which three men were engaged. One was described as a large black negro; the other two were white.

The girl was released from school after a telephone call, saying her father was sending a chauffeur for her. At the same time the father received a call saying a telephone worker was working the line and for him to leave his receiver off the hook for a while.

Dense fog hampered the searchers, as many people believe that the kidnappers have taken the victim aboard a boat.
