CAPITALISTS READY TO SPEND $60,000 ON PROPOSED BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT.

Ventnor City Council at its next meeting will probably be asked to pass upon plans for the beautification of that resort prepared by Carrere & Hastings, New York architects, at the instance of Harvey J. Shumway, a member of Ventnor Council who is very largely interested in the development of Ventnor Park.

Councilman Shumway is in possession of a sketch of a plan to make Ventnor Park an exceedingly attractive place with a magnificent parkway extending from inside Thoroughfare to Beach Thoroughfare.

Capitalists associated with Mr. Shumway are ready to voluntarily donate $60,000 worth of real estate if Ventnor City will agree to consummate the parkway project. It will make the resort below Chelsea immensely popular and more alluring as a place of residence.
