B&PW Members Install Officers, End Meeting

DURHAM (P) - Mrs. Lucy Rhodes Duncan of Smithfield has been installed as the new president of the North Carolina Federation of Business and Professional Women's clubs.

The installation of Mrs. Duncan and other newly elected officers took place here yesterday at the closing sessions of the group's 33rd annual convention.

Other events on the closing program included an inspirational breakfast for all members sponsored by the Durham club.

Other officers installed yesterday included:

Mrs. Ruby Blythe, Rocky Mount, first vice president; Miss Lois Frazier, Brevard, second vice president; Mrs. Ione P. Whitehead, Wilmington, recording secretary; Miss Evelyn Bishop, Smithfield, corresponding secretary; and Mrs. Kathryn Threatt, Fayetteville, treasurer.
