FROM CORUNNA.

Extract of a letter from Salem January 10 to the Editors of the Palladium

"This day, arrived at Marblehead, the sch. Hannah, Capt James 52 days from Corunna (Spain) in ballast, to R. Hooper. Nov. 10, a very violent gale drove ashore many vessels at Corunna, dismasted a British sloop of war, and the sch. Endeavour, of Marblehead-the Hannah lost one of her masts. There being no means of repairing the Endeavour and Hannah on shore, they were kindly assisted from a British frigate. The gale though tremendous, was short. Some of the houses, and the prison, in the town, were blown down, and 4 men killed, two of them in the prison."
