Toledo AFL Offers To Lick Taft At Polls

Toledo (LPA)—Ohio's Republican presidential hopeful, Robert A. Taft, heads for a California speaking tour next week. As a fitting farewell, the Toledo Central Labor Union bought an ad in the daily Toledo Times, promising Ohio's native son "the worst defeat any candidate ever had."
