WORLD ZIONIST CONGRESS POSTPONED UNTIL DECEMBER

JERUSALEM (JTA)—Postponement of the World Zionist Congress until December was decided upon by the Zionist Actions Committee, which is the supreme Zionist ruling body between congresses, this week. It is to be held in Palestine as originally planned.

The Congress was scheduled to open here on August 7. Its postponement was necessitated by recent political developments affecting Jewish activities in Palestine, especially the present attempt by Zionist leaders to secure immediate admission of 100,000 Jews from Europe, as recommended by the Anglo-American inquiry committee.
