LONDON

October 27. The Morning Post of Thursday mentions, that, "as the New England provinces were principally supplied with provisions from St. Eulalia (not raising any quantity themselves) by the capture of the said island of St. Eustatia, the New England provinces will be obliged to return to their allegiance, to avoid starving."

The writer of the above paragraph is very creditable and well informed! but he did not tell the whole truth: he should have added, that as the said New England colonies used to be supplied with fresh water from the islands of St Kitts and Antigua, and with firewood from Ireland, if the British navy would keep a good look-out and prevent those supplies from Ireland and the West Indies, the said New-England colonies must soon be at "unconditional submission to that country." for want of wood and water, as well as for want of provision!
