A trip to Europe by way of Dick and Mary Peter's slides of their recent journey abroad was made by Soroptimists at their luncheon meeting at the Baranof Hotel Friday noon.
The Peters' pictures were excellent, and Mr. Peter's commentary an interesting lesson in history.
Guests at the luncheon were Mrs. G. E. Cleveland whose hostess was Mrs. Alice Thorne, Miss Louise Suchomel, of New York, guest of Miss Dorothy Whitney, Catherine Young, guest of Catherine Turner, Mrs. Ed Sweeney, guest of Mrs. Bernice Morgan, Miss Ruth Foy, whose hostess was Major Martha Newbould and Mrs. John Manders, Anchorage, guest of Helen Monsen.
Dr. Grace Field, president of the group, presided and introduced guests and speakers.
