Mrs. Charles Long Takes Honors At Social Club
Mrs. Charles Long took high bridge honors at the White Shrine social club meeting and luncheon Tuesday in the tea room of the Ten Thousand club.
Second high honors for contract were accorded Mrs. W. J. McClelland. High score for auction was won by Mrs. Elvira McBratten of Calexico.
The Easter motif was carried out in the table decorations and refreshments. Mrs. John Kuhn and Mrs. Charles Long, furnished the lovely spring flowers and arranged the tables.
Mrs. Grace Kennedy of Brawley won the door prize which was a large box of candied grape fruit donated by Mrs. Clifford W. McArthur.
Present from El Centro were the Mesdames U. L. Martin, Clifford W. McArthur, A. N. Bucklin, Ben Hulse, E. N. D. Hatch, Duane Stafford, A. W. Knudsen, John Kuhn, Charles Long, W. J. McClelland and George Damron.
