HOLBROOK COLLEGE

Nineteen Students Will Receive Diplomas, Monday, May 29

Never before at Holbrook College has there been such enthusiasm and eagerness for the future as at this season. Formal notice of accreditation of the college by Director E. N. Dietrich for the training of high school teachers has widened the field of service and has generated new visions of the future of the college.

Some of the friends of the college label this season "Victory Commencement."

To open Dr. Nathan Decatur Cunningham, father of the president of the college, will deliver the baccalaureate sermon on Sunday, May 28 at 11 a. m., in the auditorium. This is the first public service in the auditorium since the disastrous flood of '37. Rev. Cunningham is pastor of the Ostego, Ohio Baptist church where he has served for more than 30 years.

Dr. Lester S. Ivins, Dean of Defiance College, will deliver the commencement oration on Monday, May 29 in the auditorium. Dr. Ivins and Rev. Cunningham both hold degrees from the old Lebanon school.

The official Holbrook College song written and composed by Professor and Mrs. Ewing of the Holbrook faculty will be sung at the commencement exercises by Misses Rebecca Coffey and Betty Peterson of Washington C. H.

The following students will receive diplomas and degrees: Roxie Lorene Blythe, Manchester; Walter Jackson Cooper, Peebles; Paul E.
