Everything is in readiness for the opening tomorrow of Pleasure Beach, the big shore amusement park which is to be conducted this summer, after two years of disuse, by the McMahon heirs, owners of the resort.
According to announcement today by Mrs. Joseph F. Gaynor, representing the owners, the steamer "Winona" will make its initial trip of the season at 11 a. m. tomorrow. The steamer runs from the resort pier at the Stratford avenue bridge to the Beach.
Hourly trips will be made after 11 o'clock until midnight.
The Seaview avenue bridge will be open to pedestrians. There will be launches in operation from Seaview avenue and from Henry street, where suitable landings have been provided.
With favorable weather, the Beach should be the Mecca for thousands of Bridgeporters tomorrow. The bath beach alone will serve to draw vast throngs, while the breeze-swept dancing pavilion and the host of other amusement features will prove most attractive.
There will be band concerts tomorrow afternoon and evening.
