GOLDEN CAP RASPBERRY.--We are debtor to Elias Hatheway, Esq., of the West Ottawa Gardens and Nursery, for a mess of the famous Golden Cap Raspberry. They are of excellent flavor, and a third larger than the Black Cap. They also possess this excellence, that while the Black Caps, in this dry, hot weather, wherever the sun strikes them, dry up and are blasted, the Golden Cap seems to be wholly unaffected. The variety promises to be the most valuable of all others for cultivation in this region, being perfectly hardy and marvelously prolific.
