CONGRESSIONAL. The Home Bill, reported passed by the House, was in the Senate referred to the committee on finance. Mr. Benton has renewed his proposition to bring in a bill to repeal the Bankrupt Law, which was tabled, two-thirds being required, a similar motion having once before been voted. In the H. of Representatives, the bill for the armed occupation of Florida, after a long debate, was passed by a vote of 98 to 79. Mr. Adams, from the select committee to whom he made report on the facts of the President ordering the removal of the deposites from the Post Office Department Bill, which those very acts show that he discovered, has made a Report, condemning in extraordinary terms the course of the President, as unwarranted by the constitution and laws of the United States, injurious to the public interest, and of evil example, and solemnly protesting against the said act of the President, and against its ever being repeated, or granted license hereafter.
