Assaulted Beautician "Fair But Unconscious"

Mrs. Clara Belle Bell, of 716 Jett St., remained "fair but unconscious" Saturday as detectives continued their search for two unidentified suspects who may have left her maimed in the rear of a building on Sunset Ave. earlier this week.

The suspects are being sought by Dets. H. Baugh and C. J. Perry who said they may be linked to the attack on the 39-year old beautician. No arrests had been made Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Bell was found unconscious Tuesday morning in a parking lot in the rear of 186 Sunset Ave. She is being treated at Grady Hospital for head injuries police believe were inflicted with a blunt instrument such as a bottle.
