Lawyers Busy On
Pantages' Plea

LOS ANGELES, NOV. 5. (U.P.)—
Attorneys for Alexander Pantages
planned to complete the affidavits
upon which the millionaire theatre
man will seek a new trial on a
charge of assaulting 17 year old
Eunice Pringle today.
The material will be submitted to
the district attorney and next Sat-
urday will be submitted in the court
room of Judge Charles Fricke when
Pantages appears for sentence. Un-
less the defense is successful Pan-
tages will receive a one to 50 year
sentence at that time.
The defense declined to disclose
the nature of the affidavits but it
was admitted that at least one of
them was from a member of the jury
that convicted Pantages.
