BENNETT CRITICAL
Sheriff Bennett's many friends will regret to learn that his condition became much worse Sunday and great apprehension has been aroused as to his recovery.
Mr. Bennett's family was summoned Sunday afternoon and it seemed for a while that there was no chance for his recovery. The surgeons performed another operation during the night, which appeared to give some relief and served to arouse some hope of a favorable turn in his condition. At 2 o'clock this afternoon he was reported as resting easy.
