The weather the past ten days has been almost ideal and if it keeps on ten days more of this warm sunshine it will ripen the corn so that we may yet have a fair crop in spite of the wet weather all season until of late. Tomatoes and other garden truck also is being greatly benefitted and now lots of tomatoes are in the market and everybody who had them in the garden are enjoying them. The roads are getting very dusty and the pastures are beginning to dry up, but the streams still have plenty of water in them.
