Extract of letter from Paris. Dec. 11

"A letter I this moment received at Dieppe in Normandy, gives me the dreadful account of six villains having entered the house of a country gentleman, of ninety, stripped the mansion of all its valuable effects, murdered the old man, wife and two of the servants, and then mangled the dead bodies in the most horrid and barbarous manner. Five of the desperate gang were apprehended; my correspondent, eye witness of the greatest end, says they died as they lived, broken alive near the place, they did show the least signs of repentance on the contrary, manifested the most desperate obduracy."
