We hear likewise from Philadelphia, that another tragical accident has happened there last week, viz. A Gentleman disapproved of the addresses of a young Gentleman to his Daughter, and forbid him his house; but the young lady favoured her lover, and agreed to ride out with him in a chair, by stealth. While they were out her Father got notice of the affair, walked out with his gun, and concealed himself on the road where he expected them to return: According to his expectation, the chair with the two young persons appeared, and he fired at the young man, who expired instantly. We have not yet heard any further Particulars of this affair.
