MORE BRITISH SHIPS DESTROYED MORE ACTIVITY IN AIR AS WINTER COMES TO TRENCHES

LONDON, Oct. 30.-Three more British ships went down to the bottom today, sunk by German submarines. The vessels included the 7,900-ton Malabar and two trawlers.

Five lives were lost in the Malabar sinking.

Blizzard came down on the Western Front today with mud and cold wind causing considerable discomfort among the soldiers. Germany's Goering conferred with Adolf Hitler and announced that the time had come to "shower war" on England with a rain of bombs. but military experts said the cold weather would hamper war activities. Pilots going aloft reported temperatures as low as 30 degrees below zero.

An air raid over London today was described by the Air Ministry as reconnaissance flights by German planes. One German two-motored plane was pursued far out to sea and it is believed was shot down.
