An Artesian Well
The Southern Pacific Company will bore for artesian water at Adonde. The machinery has been ordered and it is thought that active operations will be commenced next Monday.
It is the intention of the company to make a thorough test as to whether artesian water can be found in this section or not. It is a matter of much import to Arizona and the SENTINEL sincerely hopes that the venture will prove successful. The cost of sinking the well will be great, but the need of water at that point is of much importance to the railroad company.
Engineer W. B. Storey, Jr., will supervise and direct the work.
