A special session of the county court was held Saturday in Marion County for the purpose of discussing and arranging plans for a new bridge to span the Monongahela river at Fairmont.

The government engineers have again notified the county officials to get the old suspension bridge out of the way, with the enormous traffic over it will not be safe much longer. It is thought that an effort will be made get the county, the city and the street car company to go together and build a new iron structure. To repair the old bridge would be a waste of time and money.
