PICTURED DURING a test at Indianapolis is a revolutionary vehicle known as the "Rhino," which its inventor, Elie P. Aghnides, declares will out-perform all present day tanks, tractors and other heavy-going machines. It weighs five tons and rolls on six-foot tilted hemispheroidal wheels over mud, sand, swamps or snow, and can take farmland or cross-country areas in its stride. It can travel over highways at passenger-car speed or cruise in water, thanks to a hydro-jet nozzle. The power for land work is supplied by a 110-hp engine. (International)
