GILLIAM BOUND OVER
Vernon, Ala., Feb. 11.—Comadore Gilliam, charged with the killing of Mrs. Annie McDaniel in Lamar County on Jan. 18 by shooting her dead with a shotgun fired through the window of her home, has been bound over to the action of the Lamar County grand jury, which will meet on Feb. 20.

Gilliam was remanded to jail without being allowed bail, whereupon a writ of habeas corpus was filed in the court of Judge Sowell, of Jasper, to be tried here next Monday.

The state offered testimony from about 15 witnesses, while the defense did not offer any witnesses in rebuttal.
