There are some interesting facts as to this state of Wisconsin in which we live in the literature put out by the state immigration board, the railroads and other land companies. It appears that the state has over 34,000,000 acres of land surface and over 1,000,000 acres of lakes. It has 20,000,000 acres in farms of the most productive character; it has 6,500 miles of railroads.
