The Urban League is a Red Feather agency of the Community Chest and Council and one of 57 affiliates of the National Urban League. It is also one of the community organizations which are making an important contribution to the progress of race relations in Seattle.
More than 100 workers - colonels, captains and solicitors - are serving in the drive, said Mrs. Farquharson.
Colonels are Mrs. William S. Booth, Jackson Street Area; P. S. Barnett, Western Mt. Baker Area; Mrs. Doris Eason, Duwamish Bend Housing Project; Mrs. Clarence L. McCullough, Garfield Area; Mrs. Arville Moore, East Madison Area.
