Increase Funds For Navy.

Washington, June 24.—Carrying $646,272,000, an increase of $44,503,000 over the house total, the 1920 naval appropriation bill was completed by the senate naval committee. It will be taken up in the senate after passage of the army appropriation measure.

Increase in the navy enlisted personnel from 171,000 men, as proposed by the house, to 191,000, and an increase of the navy aviation fund from $15,000,000 to $35,000,000 were the principal changes made by the senate committee.
