PHOENIX MAN IMPLICATED IN TRUNK MURDER CASE

PHOENIX, Ariz.-John J. Halloran, wealthy Phoenix lumberman, has filed a demurrer against the true bill returned by the county grand jury naming him as an accessory in the crime and murder of Agnes Anne Le Roi and Hedvig Samuelson, two Alaska young women victims in the Winnie Ruth Judd trunk murder case. It is said that Mrs. Judd recently gave testimony implicating Halloran, who, it is claimed, was with the three young women involved on the night of the murder.
