It has not been uncommon in the past for an auto, left beside the road for a short while, to be picked to pieces by thieves and all of the movable parts taken. A new one in the thievery line was staged at Waseca last week when a new airplane, belonging to a citizen of that city, was nearly picked to pieces and many removable and valuable parts stolen. The thieves even took the motor down and removed every one of the eight cylinders, valves, pushrods and all of the mechanism attached to the cylinders. Parts taken were valued at about $600 by the owner of the plane. The plane was stored in a building just outside the city of Waseca.
