Mrs. Keene Says

When friends proposed my name as a candidate for director of schools it was announced that I would make no personal campaign but the fact that my activities, should I be elected are being erroneously reported. causes me to make the statement that no one has approached me in regard to the position as teacher and I have made no suggestions in the matter believing that this selection should be largely in the hands of the superintendent. Also have made no statement as reported, favoring general dancing in the schools.

The positive things which I hope to accomplish, if elected, are better co-operation between teachers and parents, assistants in lower grades. which I believe can be handled better by a woman and other school administration, on account of being thoroughly conversant with school management and laws through years of training and teaching.
