Cork, April 5. Last Saturday Michael Collins, aged 23, was executed at Waterford for a rape on Margaret Bryen. He confessed at the gallows to be the person that murdered Mr. Butler and his wife, John Leary, near Feathard hill, and robbing three other persons; For all which crimes Thomas Gibbons, Thomas Gooney, Daniel Dwyer, and Patrick and James Drihloe, were tried, found guilty, and executed on the evidence of the said Collins; he declared that they were all innocent, and that he only was the person concerned in those horrid crimes.
