Revolution in the Rio Grande Country.
Mat.- Revolutionary movements were discovered to be on foot in the states of Tamaulipas and Coahuila, in which several influential Mexicans had been detected as leaders.
Large bodies of Texas Rangers had also been engaged to assist in the movement. The latest accounts state that the steamer Fashion had been sent down to the mouth of the river Rio Grande, with six cannon and four companies of infantry, under command of Col. Dyer to aid in quelling the revolution.
The Boston Atlas suggests, that the name "Coon" would be a good one for a new clipper. Don't revive that sort of bygones, Mr. Atlas. That same old coon is holed.
