"Leadership" Theme
of State Sunday
School Meeting

The theme of the 31st Annual Convention of the North Dakota Sunday School Association is to be "Leadership," and the program is being built to develop this in a challenging way.

The speakers, each one of whom is a specialist in his field, will present ways and means by which an able and adequate leadership may be developed.

John L. Alexander, of Chicago, will discuss the Sunday School Association program of leadership training thru its Young People's Division Program of the Four-fold Life, the bearing of the organized class, the Young People's Council, the Training Camps at Conference Point, Lake Geneva, to this program, and the method of participation by local church leaders in the values of this great effort.

Mrs. Phoebe L. Curtis, of Chicago, will discuss the necessity of a more adequate Children's Division leadership and will show how the Association is meeting the necessity in the largest possible way, thru convention, institute, conference thru printed page, Reading courses, and again in the requisite and prerequisite school at Conference Point, Lake Geneva and Lake Winnipesaukee, N. H.

Rev. Peter Jacobs, of Randolph, Ia., will show the leadership possibilities of the small town and rural church and how such a church can occupy its field in a commanding way. Mr. Jacobs will also have charge of the Convention recreation at each city.

Prof. H. F. Humbert, of Portland, Ore., will make a distinct contribution in his leadership of the singing.

Prof. Wm. H. Walker, Professor of Philosophy of Fargo College, will discuss three leaders of thought of the Old Testament times whose contribution to the progress of this world has been a vital factor ever since.

Registrations are beginning to come in to the State Office, and the prospect for the greatest convention in the history of the Association seems assured.

A special railroad fare of one and one-third has been granted on the certificate plan.

The convention meets this year in two parts: Minot, June 13, 14, 15, and Valley City, June 16, 17, 18.
