The following resolutions have passed the house of assembly of New-York, in committee of the whole, relative to electors of President and Vice-President.

Resolved, as the sense of this committee, that, by a fair construction of the constitution of the United States, electors of President and Vice-President may be chosen by the people.

Resolved, as the sense of this committee, that a committee be appointed to bring in a bill for dividing this state into nineteen districts, for choosing the electors of President and Vice President.
