PROPOSALS
FOR printing by subscription a Sermon preached to a select audience, by the Rev. Dr. South, at an evening lecture, on the political life and opinion of Jacob, with some interesting particulars relative to Joseph and his brethren—explaining by what means Joseph acquired riches and honor; after which his heart inclined to Pharaoh—from the following text in scripture, Genesis, chapter 37, part of verse 7th. "And behold your Sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my Sheaf."
Those persons who request it, may have the Sermon with the late Treaty, in a neat pocket volume, bound in Calf, with a Russia covering.
N. B. In the original language, Jacob signifies craft, cunning, deceitful.
Sept. 12.
