Bolivar Has Fallen.

New York, August 13. -The Herald's Trinidad dispatch says: News has reached here that the City of Bolivar has fallen into the hands of Legalistas, after a desperate and bloody battle. The Legalistas appeared before the city 4,000 strong early this morning and demanded of the commander of the Government forces that he surrender. The reply was a prompt refusal. This precipitated the engagement. The Government troops were defeated, leaving the field after the loss of three officers and 500 troops. The Legalistas, while they lost no general officers, suffered fully as much as the Government, losing almost 500 men.
