Borrowing Papers.—Yesterday morning, one of our daily subscribers, on the West Side, sent to the office, about eight o'clock, for his paper, which he stated had been missed by the carrier. We called at his store a few minutes afterwards, and he informed us that one of his neighbours had sent and informed him that he had borrowed his paper, and was now ready to return it, which he accordingly did. This is an ordinary occurrence in our business, but one which puts us to much inconvenience. If those individuals who do not subscribe for our paper, and who are determined to read it, would call at the office and beg or purchase a copy, instead of taking those which are sent to our subscribers from their doors, it would confer a lasting favor, not only on us, but on those who subscribe and pay for their papers.
