Baltimore.—State and city health officials left Baltimore Sunday for Boston, where they plan to take an active part in the fifty-second convention this week of the American Public Health Association. Dr. C. Hampson Jones, Commissioner of Health, will be among those attending the sessions, at which will gather representatives from all parts of this country, Canada, Mexico and Cuba. Dr. J. H. Shrader, director of the bureau of chemistry and food, and Dr. Mary Sherwood, head of the local Bureau of Child Welfare, are also going. The State Board of Health is sending Dr. John S. Fulton, State Director of Health; Dr. J. H. Mason Knox, Jr., chief of the Bureau of Child Welfare; Dr. R. H. Riley, chief of the Bureau of Communicable Diseases, and several others.
