LATER!!!!!!
The Richmond Enquirer of yesterday contains the following:
"From the silence of the Globe, and other circumstances, we suspect, and indeed believe, that there was a mistake in the letter to this city saying that Mr. Tyler was present. We should be glad to see a flat contradiction from the Madisonian."
We cannot make a "flat contradiction."
We told the President of the "astounding rumor" in the Enquirer. Not a muscle of his face changed. He did not contradict it. Of course he made no denial.
